Our Story
Hey there! My name is Jennifer, thank you so much for taking the time to read about our story and how this business came to be!
I am a wife and a mother. I love nature and spending time with family. In 2020 I set out to visit my dad who lived in another city at the time (the lovely man on the far right of the picture) and when I arrived to his house, I was shocked.
My dad has always been a quiet man and to himself, so I didn't hear from him much, but when we arrived, we noticed post it notes everywhere. His house was a mess, he couldn't hold a conversation as he would repeat questions multiple times, his bills were beginning to be late, and he couldn't drive further than a couple miles without forgetting where he was. We immediately knew something was wrong and took action. We started by cleaning and selling his house, and then took him to come live with us as we worked to find a diagnoses. We also knew he would be in better care with us at our own house where he could be monitored.
After numerous Dr. appointments, Doctors came to the conclusion that he did in fact have Dementia. Since this diagnoses, he remains at our house in our care, and this business became what it is.We are still learning about this devastating disease as we go, but one thing that I do know is that the little things matter.
He loves crafts, word searches, puzzles, and anything that gets his brain thinking. The goal of this business is to not only help others who may be navigating the same diagnoses, but through testing products and watching others use them, I have come to find that they can be used by anybody who needs the extra stimulation!
We appreciate your support and thank you so much again for taking the time to get to know us. - Jennifer
